As creatives we are often so defined by our work that it can be hard to see beyond pushing pixels. Many of us can articulate what we do, but few of us can articulate WHY we are.
Join "AIGA, the professional association for design" on June 2nd as the speaker Luke Mysse shares his experience of pursuing passion and purpose during his 20-year career as a branding professional. He will share stories from his transition of owning a branding agency, to starting a non-profit, to closing his agency and chasing a big dream.
Come be inspired and learn how to leverage your experience towards something bigger.

About the speaker
Luke Mysse is known as a “business-minded creative” because of his strategic approach to generating results and has been helping people thrive for over two decades.
He is a frequent national business conference speaker including HOW Live, a TEDx presenter, a writer and has been a branding professional for 20 years with past clients such as Pepsi, H&R Block, and Universal Studios.
He offers a unique mix of strategy, creativity and passion to everything he’s involved in. Luke firmly believes we should all leverage our strengths and find our life’s work. After 18 years in business Luke committed the next season of his life to a non-profit project called Stop SAM. The group’s mission is to help children with Severe Acute Malnutrition in severely poor areas like Sub-Saharan Africa.
Stop SAM provided an opportunity to leverage 18 years of business and branding experience to help tell a story of hope and raise awareness for a great cause.
In 2014 this story became very personal when Luke put his career on hold to ride a bicycle across America. On September 27th, supported by his wife and two boys, Luke crossed the George Washington Bridge completing a 4,170 mile bike ride from San Diego to New York City.
Now back in Orange County Luke splits his time between brand consulting, time with his family and riding bikes. He is also still heavily involved in helping malnourished children.
